Ventures / Portfolio & Thesis
Every Sprout co-build, technical-cofounder engagement, and Wright Partners-alliance portfolio deployment lives here. This is the working set: ventures shipped into production, scaling, or graduated. Not a logo wall. A catalogue of real companies where Sprout's product-engineering and AI capacity is running on Monday morning.
A portfolio page full of logos is noise. A portfolio page full of ventures that still run is signal. We index the list by relationship type: co-built (Sprout was the product team from the start), supported (Sprout provided technical-cofounder or augmented engineering), alliance (ventures in Wright Partners' portfolio where Sprout delivers product + AI capability). Each entry links to a case with real facts where permission allows, and a sector + outcome shape where it doesn't.
Four principles that keep the portfolio page useful rather than aspirational.
Only ventures with real production deployments or real operating milestones make it onto the portfolio page. We don't list prospects. We don't list verbal commitments. We don't list ventures that stalled and we don't keep listing ones that wound down without a story.
Every entry tags the relationship type honestly: co-built, technical-cofounder, alliance-supported, long-term augmented team, or advisor. Founders reading the page should understand the depth of our involvement in each entry, not have to guess.
Named clients get named. Clients without written naming permission get BCG/Accenture-style anonymized descriptions with enough detail to be credible. The sales team's job is to close the gap over time.
Each entry lines up against Sprout Ventures' three active thesis areas (Vertical AI, UMKM Southeast Asia, Regulated-sector digital). If an entry doesn't fit a thesis, we flag it as "off-thesis" and explain why we engaged.
Ventures organized by relationship and thesis. Anonymized where naming permission is pending.

Public proofs from the portfolio: the signals that say the catalogue is real.
A Sprout-co-built UMKM marketplace onboarded more than 150,000 sellers in its first three weeks of public launch (June 2025). Zero-commission model, WhatsApp-wired, mobile-first. The flagship of Sprout's UMKM thesis.
A long-running Sprout product engagement behind a decision-intelligence platform for telecom infrastructure and network ops. Spatial AI over infrastructure data replaced a multi-day manual review with real-time recommendations.
A Wright Partners portfolio venture where Sprout built the vision and extraction AI. Photo-based agronomy guidance in Bahasa and regional languages over WhatsApp. Recognized with silver at the 2025 Salesforce Tech4Good Awards for Best Use of AI in Agriculture and Food Security.
Cross-portfolio patterns we've observed across SEA vertical-AI engagements: what wins, what doesn't, and the architecture choices that show up across ventures.
What makes a zero-commission marketplace model work at Indonesian scale, and why the unit economics are more complex than they look on the slide.
What we've learned from long-running engagements (KlikDokter, Setara, and others). Why the third year is when the engagement gets interesting.
Tell us what you're building. If we're a fit, thesis-aligned, at a stage where co-build or technical-cofounder support compounds, we'll scope the engagement. When the venture ships and reaches milestones worth publishing, the catalogue entry joins this page. Worst case, an honest no. Best case, your venture becomes one of the proofs we point at.
